About Jaret Campisi
Playing deceptively simple melodies spiced with unconventional chords and frantic finger work, Campisi is a master at the kind of sweet, surf-inspired acoustic rock that made Santa Barbara’s music scene famous “(M. Vandor, SB Independent). Whether it is his effortless guitar playing or lyrics that tell his story, Campisi has created a style he can call his own.

When listening to his debut EP, “We Come and Go” you get a sense Campisi has a lot to say. “On, We Come and Go, Campisi offers up cheerful jams (“Falling Into Place”) and wistful folksy numbers (“We Come and Go”) with some serious heart and soul” (SB Independent). The EP was recorded at the world class Playback Recording Studio with Sound Engineer and Record Producer, Tucker Bodine. Also sitting in on the album were top session studio musicians from Berklee School of Music, Adam Stehr (Drums and Lead Guitar) and Tom Mitchell (Bass).

Jaret is certainly making quite a name for himself. Recently, he was hand selected by Gap to play for their “Born to Play Live” acoustic event to celebrate Gap’s 40th Anniversary. He was also selected to headline the singer songwriters at Millenium Music Conference, the third largest music conference in the United States.

Influences
His influences include Dave Matthews, John Mayer and Jack Johnson and his style is best described as a combination of these three with a little bit of himself mixed in.

About David Correa And Cascada
The Spanish word for for cascade or waterfall. This Latin Guitar World Fusion Band from the San Francisco Bay Area over the last ten years has steadily built a fresh new sound; an original – hand made version of Nouveau Flamenco. David’s Spanish Guitar music combines Mexican and Central American folkgrooves with rumbas, tangoes, and fandangos, then masterfully adds middle eastern melodies and sounds of the gypsys of Southern Spain to the mix, creating a distinctive music all his own.

The rich experience of the band’s members give Cascada a depth and unique sound gaining them wide acclaim and a huge following in the Bay Area, the Southwest, the West Coast, and building momentum throughout the rest of the country. Guitarist Tommy Hill, Percussionist Tim Bolling and Bassist Leehoward all bring years of songwriting /recording and performing power to the lineup.

Artist of the day: Anuhea (pronounced Ah-New-Hey-Ah) is a self-taught guitarist and song-writer born on the Hawaiian island of Maui. On her self-titled debut album, Anuhea weaves soul, R‘n’B, jazz and reggae with smart, personal lyricism. With seductively sophisticated pop vocals and spirited guitar accompaniment, It’s easy to see that Anuhea’s lyrical flow stems from her early musical influences. “When I was in elementary school I would listen to TLC, Salt n Pepa & Color Me Badd on my walk-man and memorize every word.” An eco-conscious surfer as well as an outdoor enthusiast, Anuhea is not just another pretty face. She is a savvy entrepreneur who acted as her own manager, agent, producer and distributor before signing with One Hawaii Music.
